Inspired by nature, Briarly Designs combines the brilliance of sterling silver and beautiful stones and gems from around the United States to create unique, one-of-a-kind, handmade sterling silver jewelry. I know you don't like looking like everyone else. Your jewelry should be as unique as you are.
This year, I carry on the tradition of using my grandfather's cabochons in as many unique jewelry pieces as I can. The black Labradorite necklace, shown on the site, contains a cabochon that my grandfather cut over 20 years ago. The iridescent blue flecks of this stone shimmer in the sun.
I attended several bead shows last year and went completely mad with buying beads. So, this year I've added beaded jewelry. I have now made several necklaces and bracelets that embrace these wonderful finds. Some of my pieces have just wire-wrapped beads, like the Crystal Blue Topaz Bracelet. While others, such as the Turquoise Drop Necklace, have a beautiful stone set in sterling silver.
As a kid, I loved those cheap candy necklaces. The Turquoise, Sterling and Pearl beaded necklace reminds me of those innocent times, but with a more sophisticated flair. It looks good enough to eat, though it's not recommended!
